Donkey Kong Country 2’s story takes place right after the first game. Some time after the first adventue, Donkey Kong, while relaxing on the beach, was kidnapped by the Kremling Krew. Donkey is held hostage in exchange of the Kong family’s Banana Hoard. Diddy Kong volunteered to rescue Donkey and prove his competence to the family. Donkey Kong Country 2 is a classic platformer game where you can play as Diddy and Dixie Kong. Each character has their own special abilities and require a different play style. When playing together, the two can use a new team up move that is very effective when playing on the later parts of the game.
