Metroid Fusion is an award-winning game boy advance action-adventure platform shooter game. Just like other Metroid games, the player controls Samus Aran in Metroid Fusion. The story revolves around Samus when she was infested by an X-parasite from the last expedition. The parasite almost killed Samus and damaged her central system. Fortunately she was cured by a unique vaccine. The vaccine and gave Samus the ability to absorb the X Parasites for nourishment. Despite the good effect, the vaccine also gave her vulnerability to cold. The game starts after Samus has been sent to the BSL station for examination and extermination.
